The Cal Ripken (competitive league) draft was held last week for ages 9 -12. For those who were not selected in this draft, Junior Deputy offers the finest Recreational League (Bambino) Spring program in Central Arkansas so all children…and parents….have the opportunity to enjoy the game of baseball.
Also, each Fall Junior Deputy offers a Fall Instructional League (Fall Ball) to help all players (drafted or recreational) develop their skill sets in a fun non-competitive setting. Registration for Fall Ball will open in August.
For the upcoming Spring, signups will open up for all leagues in January. Once registration is completed there will be the opportunity for each child to participate in the Recreational (Bambino) League or enter the Cal Ripken tryouts in February. Once the Spring draft results are completed, player assignments will take place and all will be notified of which team they have been assigned to, whether it is Recreational or the Cal Ripken team.
